planting answers.
guiding your growth, seed by seed.
do you take insurance?
I am a private-pay therapist at both locations. At Positive Path, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes! I offer secure telehealth sessions for teens and young adults through both practices. In-person sessions are also available!
what ages do you work with?
I work with adolescents, teens, and young adults (roughly ages 13–35). Younger children are supported through play therapy at Kaleidoscope.
how much are a session?
Session fees depend on the location:
Kaleidoscope Behavioral Health: $150 per session (private pay, specialized support, including play therapy)
Positive Path: $80 per session (private pay; superbills available)
how do I know if therapy is a good fit?
Therapy can help if your teen or young adult is navigating: anxiety, mood changes, stress, overthinking, identity questions, school pressure, or emotional overwhelm. I also support high achievers, first-generation students, and young adults navigating life transitions.
what happens in the first session?
The first session is gentle and conversational. I focus on getting to know the child or young adult, understanding their needs, and creating a plan together. No pressure, just connection and grounding.
do you involve parents in therapy?
Yes — for teens, I involve parents as needed to support progress while maintaining the teen’s privacy. For young adults, involvement is only at their request.
how should my teen prepare for therapy?
No preparation is necessary. They’re welcome to come as they are. Some clients like to bring a journal or something to write with, but it’s not required.
how can I schedule a session?
You can book directly through the practice links on my website or reach out through the contact page if you’re unsure which location is the best fit.
who supervises your work?
I am a provisionally licensed therapist (LPC-Associate) supervised by Dr. Katherine Calo, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S, NCC, ensuring high-quality, ethical care.
is therapy confidential?
Your privacy is important, whether you’re a teen, young adult, or parent. For adults and young adults, everything shared in therapy is confidential and protected under HIPAA, unless there’s a safety concern.
For minors, I respect your teen’s voice and experience while also involving parents as needed to support growth. Sessions are generally private, and what your teen shares is kept confidential, unless there’s a safety concern. My goal is to create a safe, grounded space where everyone can feel heard, supported, and respected.
